* Mitzi Gaynor and France Nguyen of South Pacific were joined by TCM's Ben Mankiewicz poolside at the Roosevelt prior to a screening of the film.
* Jane Fonda joined host Robert Osborne to introduce a screening of her film On Golden Pond at the Egyptian. Whenever she spoke of her father and co-star, Henry Fonda, throughout the weekend, she often became emotional, which was touching to witness.
* Bill Hader, TCM Guest Programmer and "Saturday Night Live" cast member, joined TCM's Ben Mankiewicz for an interview in the Roosevelt.
* Robert Osborne conducted a live-to-tape interview with Mildred Pierce actress Ann Blyth. Look for a special programming block featuring Ann, which will include the Fest interview, later this summer on TCM.
* Alex Trebek ("Jeopardy!") hosted "What's the Score?", a trivia contest a la "Name That Tune", in which teams had to correctly guess the film score/soundtrack.
