Kirsten Storms Predicted the Future as Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century
September 2013
Zetus Lupetus! It's been - get this - almost 15 years since the Disney Channel original movie Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century premiered back in January 1999.
Even crazier, nearly a decade has passed since we last saw Zenon and her hot pink spandex on our screens, completing the trilogy with Zenon: The Zequel (2001) and Zenon: Z3 (2004). Now that we've got a bit of the 21st Century under our asteroid belts, I had to ask our favorite galactic girl herself, Kirsten Storms, what she's appreciated most about this stellar century. Thankfully, we're still many years away from 2o49 AD when Zenon was growing up, but as it turns out, she was even more ahead of her time than we knew! |

Soap opera fans know Kirsten well, first as Belle Black on "Days of Our Lives," and for her current longtime role as Maxie Jones on "General Hospital".
Kirsten, 29, wed co-star Brandon Barash (Johnny Zacchara) in June, and the couple is expecting their first child, a girl, early next year. We can only hope Kirsten has kept some of those sweet outfits to pass along to her own little zequel. Here's to the new girl of the 21st Century! |
