TCM Classic Film Festival 2014
April 2014
Happy Birthday, Turner Classic Movies! The Atlanta-based nostalgia network celebrates its milestone 20th Anniversary this year and returned to Hollywood for a fifth consecutive time to party in style with legions of classic movie fans and film buffs. The festival upheld its tradition of quality programming, giving audiences incredible opportunities to watch their favorite films the way they were meant to be seen and hear from the talented individuals who worked on them.

The late, entirely great, Mickey Rooney was meant to attend this year, as he had previously, and his presence was profoundly missed and deeply felt among the festival-goers and TCM company. I fulfilled a lifelong dream and met him briefly last year, as shown in the photo, and I'm forever grateful for that chance encounter with a legend of our time. We love you, Mickey.
